At the end of 2002, Stephanie gave up her career in human resources to pursue her goal of becoming an opera singer.

During 2003, she became a PricewaterhouseCoopers Dame Malvina Major Emerging Artist with NBR New Zealand Opera,  understudying 'The Hostess' in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov and playing the role of 'Berta' in the regional tour of Rossini’s  Barber of Seville. Stephanie is now studying at the prestigious Indiana University School of Music for a two year post graduate Performers Diploma with international diva, Madame Teresa Kubiak, whom she had the pleasure of singing for at the New Zealand Opera School held in Wanganui in 2003 and as a result was invited to study with her in the United States.

Since coming to the States, she's achieved a satisfying 4.0 GPA while learning about everything from French and Italian diction to opera workshop to vocal pedagogy classes.

Initially Stephanie qualified as an Industrial Psychologist and worked in that field for a number of years. During that time she has been a member of the New Zealand Opera chorus in Wellington and Auckland since 1993, participating in around 19 operas.

Stephanie has became a regular around the New Zealand music scene performing, amongst others, with the Dalewool Auckland Brass Band as their headline soloist on two occasions, and engaging in a wide range of private and corporate engagements and events.
